What can be said?

MyBrother texted me my weekly Friday morning greeting. Thanks Brother! He added in his message his observation that there is a lot going on in the world today. I'm sure he was referring to the most recent killings of black men at the hands of white police officers.

Well said, Brother! Well said...but, what can be said about what is going on? Oh, a lot has already been said! But what is really going on? What are real solutions to what is really going on? How can these problems be resolved?

Now, I have stayed out of these kinds of public conversations, but I do want to add this...As I observe news reports and coverage about all that is going on, I also noticed something missing.  Something that we used to hear in news interviews quite often...what is that missing thing? God!  Now, of course, God is not a thing...but have you noticed that? Could all of "this" be because we have left God - out of everything!??!?!? We don't acknowledge Him in anything anymore!

Let's just get back to the Word of God. "Why?" you may ask? The Word of God changes the HEART of man!! Let's just face it, our hearts are not right! The Word of God teaches us how to live, how to treat each other, how to forgive, how to walk upright, how to see things, how to handle the tough times, how to rejoice and when to rejoice...and so so much more!! Where else can you learn these things? This is truth...
